Find trade opportunity between 9.20am to 9.30am. ie long below blue line or short above blue line.. for safe play can long below red line and short above green line.
When cash market open at 9.30am, futures level will converge to the 3 lines.
Take note that provided SSE futures market don't swing wildly.
Upon cash market open, can close position.

2)Enter long for few ten lots
3)market open, 9.30am, futures track back to cash market - Took profit
4)After 9.30am, 3 more support/resistance lines were drawn

Journal 2014/07/04 HSI

Previous data: US market at record high and Dow surpassed 17L gain 
Morning HSI futures pointing to gain.
Upon open, scalped it based on HK top 2 to 3 weighting counters move. Range bound play.

Journal 2014/07/02 HSI

Previous data: Dow gain 129 or 0.77%. Chinese PMI good. HSI futures closed at about 23155 level.

This morning HSI preopen: HSI futures pointing to about +100. Top 2 weighted counters ie HSBC(14.75%) and Tencent(8.18%)HSI weighting about 1 to 2% gap up --> looks bullish. Long call about HSI +100 level.

Upon HSI futures open on 9.15am, true enough HSI gapped up more than expected. about +200 or near to 2%. And profit taking slowly kicked in. I was following the trend as well to take profit and closed position at 7% net gain.(net means after deduct comm)
But then the story not end and at 9.36am bottom, HSI ramped up and surpassed morning high. Another crazy action. HSI is very sensitive, domino effect always apply. And till now the profit would have grown to 14%(vs my 7% closed). There is Chinese saying:输要缩, 赢要谷 (lose must cut, Win must add) This  sounds quite similar to trader's golden rule: cut loses and let profits run. And again and again, today's actions proved this saying is wonderful just that I have not been able to practise it.
To watch 11am action, if any. What is 11am timing? Market close for lunch break at 12 noon and close at 4pm. Hence any trend usually will establish about near the closings ie at about 11-11.30am and 3-3.30pm, where traders rush to position themselves in the majority trend ( up or down ).

HSI at 8am point to +0.19%
Open up 34 pts, trend up and slowly trend down. Afternoon 2pm ramped down fast. Rebound from 2.30pm.

市场含着泪收市

市场最后一天交易已结束，总结了2011。虽说最后一天起落参半，但都在近低位收市，尤其STI，不但见红，还在最低点收市。是历来晨差的年尾效应（橱窗粉饰），惨不忍睹。

一月份效应?Capricorn Effect?
爱的反面是恨，既然无力推高就干脆有多低压多低，至少明年可以轻松的来个开门红，一炮冲天!

Market sense 27/10/2010 morning

Sg market open higher and many stocks gap up a bit ( 1 bid or 1-2% ) with the relief US market ( Dow, Nasdaq, S&P500 ) did not drop although many anticipating a pull back.  However, market may remain range bound, with traders will log in profit near resistance, on the positive side, sideline cash may continue flow in when market pull back lower near support.

For those who are interested in the TA figure, ie support/resistance level, you may refer to Phillip's research ( ie Technical analysis, Regional Market focus)

Market focuses on penny, also attention on recent favour big cap like SGX due to merger news. GLP, the biggest IPO launch after Singtel.

Short term market remain volatile with sense slightly point to cautiously up.  As long as market remains cautious, there are room for upside and chances for retails.  When market turn extremely positive over broadbase, it may only good for day traders who can react fast.

Wow, vol looks real. Stunning, HSI made 3 breakouts today, although slow, slow means good sign, more chances ahead.
